How it works
How Stakeline works.
A plain explanation of the whole mechanism: where the yield comes from, what it buys, what happens at graduation, and what can go wrong.
01 · Buy
SOL goes into the coin's bonding curve.
02 · Stake
The curve stakes its own reserve, keeping a liquid buffer for sells.
03 · Earn
Staking yield is harvested every epoch.
04 · Buy back
The yield buys the coin on its own curve.
01
The curve
Every coin launches on a bonding curve. Buying takes tokens out of the curve and puts SOL in; the more tokens have been sold, the higher the price. Selling does the reverse. There's no order book and no one on the other side: the curve is always there to trade with.
Stakeline uses the same virtual constant-product shape as most Solana launchpads, so the numbers feel familiar. The difference is what happens to the SOL that piles up underneath it.
The maths
(V0 + reserve) × (T0 − sold) = K price = K / (T0 − sold)² V0 = 30 SOL · T0 = 1,073,000,000
02
Staking and the liquid buffer
On an ordinary launchpad, the SOL in a curve just sits there. On Stakeline, 80% of it is staked through a liquid staking token, which delegates it to Solana validators and earns their staking rewards. The other 20% stays liquid as a buffer.
Selling stays instant. Sells are paid from the buffer first.
If a run of sells drains the buffer, the curve swaps some of its staking token back to SOL on the spot, so the seller still gets paid immediately.
Every epoch the reserve is rebalanced back to 80/20.
03
Epochs and harvests
Solana pays staking rewards once per epoch, roughly every 2 days. Between harvests the yield builds up in the coin's buyback tank. At each epoch boundary it's harvested and spent, all of it, on buying the coin.
Honest numbers
Small, steady, and it never stops. Buybacks grow with the reserve, but they are small next to the trading on a busy coin. The APY is an estimate that moves with the network.
04
Buyback modes
The creator picks what happens to the tokens the yield buys. It's set at launch and can't be changed.
Burn
Bought tokens are destroyed. Supply only shrinks. The default.
Share with holders
Bought tokens are sent to holders in proportion to what they hold.
Add to liquidity
Half the yield buys tokens, the other half pairs with them, and both go into the pool.
05
Graduation and endowments
When a curve holds 85 SOL it graduates: trading moves to a DEX pool, and 10% of the reserve becomes the coin's endowment. The endowment is staked forever and can never be withdrawn by anyone, including the creator and Stakeline. Its yield keeps buying the coin back from the pool every epoch.
Anyone can endow. Add SOL to any graduated coin to give it a bigger permanent buyer.
The pool opens at the curve's final price, so graduating doesn't move the price.

Fees
One simple trading fee, shared between the coin's creator, the platform and $STAKELINE holders.
| What | Fee | Goes to |
|---|---|---|
| Buying or selling on the curve | 1% | Creator 40% · platform 30% · $STAKELINE holders 30% |
| Trading after graduation | Pool fee | Set by the DEX |
07
$STAKELINE
$STAKELINE is the platform coin. 30% of every trading fee on Stakeline goes to $STAKELINE holders, in proportion to what they hold.

The risks, plainly
Read these before buying anything. Staking yield doesn't make a memecoin safe.
- Memecoins are extremely volatile.Prices can fall to almost nothing in minutes. Only use money you can afford to lose entirely.
- Smart contracts can fail.Stakeline runs on code. Bugs or exploits could lose funds, including staked reserves and endowments.
- Liquid staking tokens carry their own risk. The staking token could lose its value against SOL, its protocol could fail, or it could be hard to swap back quickly in a rush of sells.
- Yield varies and is small. The 7% figure is an estimate. Staking yield changes with the network, and it is small next to the trading volume of an active coin.
- Buybacks don't guarantee any price.A steady buyer is not a price floor. Selling can always outweigh buybacks, and usually will on a falling coin.
- Endowments are permanent.SOL added to an endowment can never be withdrawn by anyone. Endow only what you are happy to give away.
- Nothing here is financial advice. This site describes a mechanism. It doesn't tell you to buy anything.
